Waiver & Release of Liability

Section 1 — Nature of the Course

I understand this course provides general educational information only regarding C-section recovery, postpartum wellness, and exercise.

I understand this course is not physiotherapy, healthcare treatment, diagnosis, or individualized assessment, regardless of the country I reside in.

I agree that participating in this course does not create a patient-provider relationship, even if the instructor is a licensed physiotherapist or healthcare professional in Canada.

Section 2 — No Medical or Professional Advice

I understand that the content is not medical advice and is not tailored to my specific medical history, condition, or recovery.

I agree to consult my own physician, obstetrician, midwife, or licensed healthcare provider in my country before beginning any exercises or applying any information from this course.

I agree to stop any activity and seek medical help if I experience pain, bleeding, incision issues, dizziness, or any concerning symptoms.

Section 3 — Exercise & Assumption of Risk

I understand that all physical activity carries risks, including but not limited to muscle strain, injury, aggravation of existing conditions, fatigue, or surgical complications.

I voluntarily choose to participate in the exercises and activities presented in this course and assume full responsibility for all associated risks, regardless of my geographic location.

I understand I am responsible for modifying or stopping any activity based on my own medical needs and comfort.

Section 4 — International Liability Release

I understand that the course provider is licensed in Canada, and any professional credentials do not apply as regulated practice in my country.

I release, indemnify, and hold harmless the provider, business, instructors, employees, and contractors from all liability, claims, or damages arising from my participation in this course, to the fullest extent permitted by the laws of my country and the laws of Canada.

I agree that no claim may be brought against the provider for injury, loss, or damages related to my participation, except where laws prohibit waiver of liability (e.g., gross negligence).

Section 5 — No Guarantees

I understand that postpartum and surgical recovery vary between individuals and that the provider does not guarantee results such as healing time, pain reduction, aesthetic changes, or functional outcomes.

Section 6 — Jurisdiction & Governing Law

I agree that this waiver and any dispute arising from my participation in this course shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the province and country in which the provider is located (Canada), regardless of the country in which I reside.

I agree that any legal action must be brought only within that jurisdiction.

Section 7 — Confirmation of Understanding

I confirm that I have read this entire waiver, understand each statement, and have had the opportunity to ask questions.
